James Blanton White's Obituary
White, James Blanton, 72, of St. Petersburg, died on Thursday June 18, 2009 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL. He served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army and was a service manager in the petroleum industry. He is survived by his companion of 18 years, Sandy Carter; a son, James Ronald White; his mother, Dora N. (Powers) White; two brothers, Edwin E. and Gary W. White; five sisters, Faye Jackson, Dianne Swain, Vicki Espich, Brenda Johnson, and Marie Raymer; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "LifeLink Foundation" 409 Bayshore Blvd Tampa, FL 33606 or to "Friendship Baptist Church" 4001 - 74th Street N. St. Petersburg, FL 33709.
