James Darren Hucks' Obituary
James “Darren” Hucks, 54, of Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away on July 7, 2022.
Darren was born December 10, 1967 to James “Jimmy” Lamar Hucks and Joan Holt Hucks Guyton in Conway, South Carolina. After Darren graduated from Conway High School in 1986 and in 1991 he graduated from Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina.
After graduating Trident Technical College, Darren trained at the VA and MUSC in Charleston, before working at Saint Xavier Hospital as a radiologic technologist. He then moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida to accept a position as a radiologic technologist at Saint Petersburg Hospital and then Saint Anthony Hospital.
Darren loved to travel and listen to music by Stevie Nicks. He was a black belt in karate and a big fan of the Carolina Panthers.
Surviving include his mother, Joan Holt Hucks Guyton and Steve Beach, both of Saint Petersburg.
Darren was preceded in death by his father, James “Jimmy” Lamar Hucks, his grandparents John L and Mary Estelean Holt and Cox and Carrie Hucks.
