James Leo DeMoully's Obituary
DeMOULLY, James Leo, 84, of Palm Harbor, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. Jim was born June 1, 1928, in St. Paul, MN, to Leo and Malvina (Vienneau) DeMoully. In St. Paul, he attended Cretin-Durham High School and the College of St. Thomas prior to serving in Japan with the US Army. After his discharge, he moved with his parents to St. Petersburg, and attended the University of Tampa and Stetson College of Law. He was a proud retired member of the Florida Bar and served the State of Florida as both a Public Defender and Assistant State Attorney. He had a passion for gardening, sports and his beloved pets. He is survived by his two children, Mary Louise DeMoully (William P.) Corbett of Palm Harbor, and Michael (Janice) DeMoully of Dubuque, IA; and four grandchildren, Elise, Zach, and Madeline DeMoully, and Conner Corbett; as well as his brother, Thomas (Eileen) and sister, Patricia. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Schneider DeMoully; his brothers, John and William; and sister, Constance.
