James Robert Davisson's Obituary
James Robert Davisson, 82, of St Petersburg, FL passed away peacefully at VA Bay Pines Hospital, on 1/29/26. Born in Webb City, Missouri on 6/5/43.
James attended Webb City HS where he played trombone. He traveled the world with a career in the US Air Force for 24 years achieving rank of MSGT, starting as a military police officer, later joining the Field Training Detachment as an OJT Advisor. After retiring in Florida from the military, James embarked on a second career with the Military Entrance Processing Service (MEPS), totaling 46 years of service to his country. An active Egypt Temple Mason, he also enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hunting, spending time with his family.
He was preceeded in death by his parents John C. and Patricia Davisson and brothers John and Tom. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Chow-Zoo Davisson, his son Dallas and daughter Gina, her husband Jason. Grandchildren Nicholas, his wife Vivianna and Krystal, her spouse Timothy, and great grandchildren Baker and Jackson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5750 49th Street N., St. Petersburg, Florida, 33709.
