James F. Carney's Obituary
Carney, Cptn. James, 66, of Largo, died Friday, 7/18/2008. Born May 13th in Wooster, OH. To the late Ruth and James Carney. They moved to Florida in 1956. He was a racecar driver at Sunshine Speedway #47. Also a Drywall contractor, Commercial Fisherman (Force Ten) belonged to the Moose Lodge and was a diehard Bucs fan. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 27 years Mary J. Carney and daughters Lisa and Tonya Decker both of Clearwater, Kelli Wiles of Pinellas Park, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brother Paul Carney of Dothan, Al., 2 sisters Pat Bradley of Williston, Fl., and Joann Tracy of Robinson, IL., 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Jim was a true to all. He will be missed deeply.
