Jacquelyn Caryl Schoonover's Obituary
Jacquelyn Caryl Schoonover, 92, of Largo, Florida went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at 9:55 p.m.. She was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on November 1st, 1930. She was a very faithful servant of the Lord! For many years, she loved to teach Sunday School from pre-school to 2nd grade children and lead a Bible Study called "His Ones" for single, divorced, or widowed ladies at Suncoast Community Church until the last few years when she had her first heart attack/stroke. She loved anything to do with spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supported many Mission Groups and Missionaries financially. She retired at age 86 after working full-time for Bozeman Insurance as a licensed insurance agent and bookkeeper. During her working years, she was active in the Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce and many other community services.
Jacque was much loved by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry and her granddaughter, Pam Robie. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Loren (Jack) MacGregor, stepdaughter Linda Folden, and her daughter Ruth Schoonover. She has four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on June 23rd, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm, and a graveside service at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery, for family and pastors only.
