Jacob Nathaniel Funk's Obituary
On Friday January 22, Jacob Nathaniel Funk, loving Son, husband to Summer and father of three children, Gabriella (13) Jacoby(6) and Willow(3) passed away at age 32.
Jacob was born on February 28, 1988 in Los Angeles California to Steven and Karen (Gray) Funk. Jacob received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the Florida Gulf Coast University and worked as a Child Protective Investigator at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department.
Jacob had a passion for Lakers basketball. loved to kayak, Jacob also loved watching his children play baseball and softball ,he was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit. He left behind his Loving Mother Karen Gray Funk, two amazing sisters Erynne and Hillary Funk, and their beautiful sons. His most amazing Grandparents Peter and Beverly Gray. Uncle Mark, Aunt Jackie, Aunt Katie, Aunt Mindy, Aunt Julie, Aunt Jenny and Aunt Tani, Aunt Sandy and many cousins and friends.
Jacob was preceded in death by his loving father Steven, and amazing Uncle Scott Gray and Aunt Tracy, also his Sweet Grandmother Susan Roskopp and Tula Hilfer. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 29 at 12pm at Memorial Park funeral home at 5750 49th street North St Petersburg 33709.
