Jack L. Smith's Obituary
Smith, Jack L., 73, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away February 20, 2011. He was born in Zion New Jersey. He was a Navy Veteran post Korea and President of the Eagles Club. He owned a painting company and local business where he always raised money for Jerry's Kids. Putting on benefits and BBQ's was his favorite. He was always putting others before himself. He was one of nine children. He was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Mary Smith; sisters Alice, Betty, Mary, Dorothy and Barbara; brothers Bucky, and Bobby. He loved the lottery Gold Rush, fishing and especially when the family was together where he liked to tell jokes and make everyone laugh. He was truly loved by all. He is survived by his children Debra Mullins, Rita Ann Schmich, and Jack L. Smith, Jr.; sister Shirley Slaff; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren along with family and friends with a special thanks to Jimmy, Adie and Billy. We will always be blessed by the continued presence in our lives. A Celebration of life for Jack is pending at this time.
