Jack Bernard Sellers' Obituary
Jack Bernard Sellers, 94, passed away May 2, 2023 at his home in New Port Richey with family by his side. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Michael W. Sellers and Rose B. Sellers on March 5, 1929. Predeceased by his father, mother and brother Michael, Jack is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha, sons Jack Jr., James (Mary) of St. Petersburg, Fl., sister Darlene Sevier of West Point, MS., sister-in-law Cynthia Sellers, Nieces Michele Rowe (Bernard), Darcelle Hines (Roger), Nephew John Sevier (Hilda), Great Niece Catherine Robinson (Luke) all of West Point, MS; Great Nephew Paul Hines (Donna) of St. Petersburg. A St. Petersburg businessman, Jack enjoyed boat racing, fishing, wood working and many other activities. His life was full and to hear him tell it, he had done everything. Jack was a member of Nitram Lodge #188 for 65 years, the APBA Gulf Hall of Fame 100 mph club. His accomplishments were many and he was available at all times when someone needed his help. A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th St. N., St Petersburg, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, with the memorial service at 1:00 pm and committal to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice or Enhabit Home Health for their exceptional care of Jack in his final days.
