Irene Jurgela's Obituary
Jurgela, Irene, 83, of Valrico, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away on Dec. 17, 2014. She was a long time member and First Lady of the American-Lithuanian club, St. Petersburg. She had a passion for cooking, owned two restaurants, loved being with her family and had a green thumb for gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband, Klemas Jurgela. Survived by her daughters, Ruta (Ernie) Hardenbrook Linda (Patrick) Kelley and; grandchildren, Jill (Abdul) Karmach; Jessica Fonua her great-grandsons, Saviel, Ayden and Jayden; brother, Vilius (Laima) Jakusovas. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 22, from 5-8pm, with a rosary service at 7 pm. A mass will be held at The Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 5800 15th Avenue South, Gulfport, FL 33707, on Tues- day at 10 am, with a committal service to follow at Memorial Park.
