Irene Isabel Carroll passed away on April 1, 2024, in Coral Springs Florida, and she was born June 26, 1940, in New York, New York.
Irene is survived by her beloved daughters Lisa Carroll and Wendy Radin, son-in-law Benjamin Radin, grandsons, Evan and Matthew Radin, great-granddaughter, Alanna Radin, cousins Linda Marino, Craig Marino, and Donna Pepper, and a heartfelt mention goes to Steve Bloom, Irene’s beloved family friend.
Irene’s evenings were filled with excitement as she watched her favorite show Jeopardy! Her daughters knew not to call her between 7:30-8:00, knowing she wouldn’t be answering the phone. Crossword puzzles were also one of her favorite pastimes. Everyone was always so impressed on how she continuously mastered the New York Times Sunday Crossword Puzzles. Irene was a devoted sports fan. Whether it was baseball, golf, tennis, bowling, or the Olympics, Irene cheered for her favorite athletes with unwavering enthusiasm. Staying informed about the world was essential to her, and she religiously watched broadcasts of the news. Irene loved exploring new destinations during cruises. And her sweet tooth delighted in milk & cookies and chocolate cake. Yellow roses, with their sunny hue, reminded her of brighter days and blooming gardens.
Irene Isabel Carroll will forever remain in our hearts as we gather to bid her farewell at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL on Thursday, April 4, at 2:00 PM, let us celebrate her life.
