Harle, Homer Carl, 92 of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully on Jan 23, 2010 at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in Cleveland, OH he moved here with his wife Mary in 1947. He was predeceased by Mary in 2005 and by a son Robert in 19 Read Obituary
I have memories of having met Homer and Brooks' mother, when we were freshmen at Miami Dade Jr. College. I lost sight of Brooks and would like to reconnect with him if possible. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service but will be thinking of all my family who are able to attend. Thank you Aunt Alice for all you have done for Grandpa & Grandma. I miss them both. They were wonderful grandparents and role models for us. Grandpa was always so gentle and kind and was always interested in what we were up to. I am so happy that Judd and I and Chelsea & Cody were able to visit with him last year.
Dear Alice and Family, I am sorry to hear of Homer's passing. He was such a sweet, patient, soft spoken and gentle man. He will always rest in a special part of my heart. Funny, I can picture he and Aggie together again. Now they need not miss each other any longer. Bob and the kids and I had some pretty fun visits with both of them when we lived in New York and New Jersey. I remember the first visit after Bob and I got married. They came for Thanksgiving when we were still in New York. I wanted everything to be perfect for my new In-laws! It almost was. Until 8 hours later when I realized the oven was not working! We all enjoyed the vegetables and homemade egg nog that day. Homer complimented me for my cooking and never said a word about the Turkey! That was 35 Thanksgivings ago and I still remember that day! SORRY WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE SERVICE FOR HOMER. WE WILL HAVE OUT OF TOWN GUESTS THIS WEEKEND. WE SEND OUR CONDOLENCES TO ALICE AND THE FAMILY. WE WILL SAY OUR PRAYER FOR HOMER AND AGGIE.
We will miss you Homer as we miss Aggie. You two were a beautiful couple. Meeting you in the band at Egypt Shrine was an honor. We know in our hearts that you are resting in peace together again.
Homer and Aggie are together again and we are sure they are having a Ball. It was always a lot of fun and enjoyment to be with them. Louise and I will surely miss them both.
