Herminda Wykoff's Obituary
WYKOF, Herminda, 94 of Pinellas Park passed away March 10, 2016. Herminda was a devout Christian and enjoyed volunteering at Bay Pines VA. She belonged to The American Gold Star Mothers and The American Legion. She was born in Valmeyer, Illinois to Minnie and Louis Wild. As a young 20something she had the itch to go to California and help in the war effort. She went to San Fransisco and found a job as a welder for Kaiser Shipyards during WWII. She primarily lived in the Metro St. Louis area where she raised 8 children. Later in life she moved to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. She is preceded in death by her parents Minnie and Louis Wild, a sister Sue Kidd, two children Gail Wykoff and Roy D. Page. She is survived by her six children: Mary Page Rao, John Page, Roger Page, Barbara Page Blumenfeld, Barry Wykoff, and Joan Wykoff;11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
