Herman John Porath's Obituary
Porath, Herman “John”, 86, of St. Petersburg and formerly of Wyandotte, Michigan passed away Thursday, January 15th. John was born on July 4th, 1928. Survivors include his wife, Dotti, daughters Jill (Vince) Iacopelli and Tracy (Jim) Moore, brothers Joel Rivette and Ellwood Porath, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his first wife of 51years, Eva, and 2 of their daughters, Kimberly and Janice. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea. John was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, a life member of American Legion Post 14, Forty & Eight and VFW. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday the 21st from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, St. Petersburg on Thursday the 22nd at 11am.
