Mr. Herman Lawrence "Larry" Litka's Obituary
Larry Litka of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Northside Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida with his loving family by his side. He was 76.
Born May 11, 1942 in Norristown, Pensylvania; Herman Lawrence Litka was the beloved son of the late Jacob and Irene Litka. He was the owner/operator of several service (gas) stations. Larry was a gifted race car driver - enjoying time with family and friends at various tracks/venues in St. Petersburg. Larry also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Helen. Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 59+ years, Patricia and their two children, Richard Litka (Beverly) and Sherry Makula (the late John). He was also the loving grandfather of four grandchildren; Melody, Matthew, Jennifer and Koby. He is also the dear great grandfather of eight great grandchildren; Caleb, Cameron, Chloe, Ahliya, Deja, Austin, Landon and Chloe.
A Memorial Service and celebration of Larry's life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Lake Seminole Park (Pavilion #2) 10015 Park Blvd N, Seminole, FL 33777 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 60th St. Baptist Church, 9309 60th St, Pinellas Park, Florida 33782.
