Herb was a very good man he was a smart man i didnt know him family wise but i have spent alot of times with him he was a man of honor a man of smarts the smartest math magician i have ever met he was also a man of great pride i will always remember him as the great honorable Mr.Miller i loved and enjoyed he was a trustworthy freind he was a freind you can count on in timess of need he is and he will always be the Mr.Miller that i respected and loved with all my heart....
We knew Herb for many years, both as a neighbor and a friend and a teacher. He was so good to my Mother in law. he took her the store to the beach, mowed her yard and basically took care of her. we will surley miss him.
I have known Herb for 35 years. First as my grandmothers neighbor and for the last ten years as my neighbor and a friend to myself and my son, Dylan. In the 20 or so years as my grandmothers friend he was always there for her and my aunt Josie. He took them to the grocery store and doctor for all of those years. I have fond memories of Herb taking Josie and us kids to the beach. I consider him family for all he did for my nana. He gave me a picture of him holding my nana in his arms. It is the only picture I have of her and I'm glad its with Herb.
My heart goes out to Kendall, Herbs wayward stepchild, his friend for the last 28 years and his caretaker for the last ten years. Through thick and thin, good times and bad they were there for each other. As close any family could be. We call them M&M (Miller and Murphy) and what a pair they were. My condolences to his relatives. We love you and will miss you always. Rest in peace my friend.
My most sincere heartfelt condolences to Kendall and Mr. Miller's family, for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Miller and spending time with him through his son/roommate Kendall. Mr. Miller was an incredible man who loved life and adored telling all kinds of stories. He was a real jokester and loved a good bantering back and forth. He had a true passion for his former students and their accomplishments. His compassion for them was evident. Mr. Miller loved his family and spending time with them. Mr. Miller touched my life and I am forever grateful to have known him. He will be missed by many.
I will surely miss Mr. Miller. I met Mr. Miller through his caretaker/ roommate Kendall Murphy. I have some fond memories with Mr. Miller, especially when we were listening to music and Mr. Miller would start dancing. He loved listening to Tracey Chapman. Mr. Miller shared with me a lot about his life, travels, and his special memories. I love him and will miss him so much. He brought joy and companionship into my life. My condolence's to his family.
Mr.Miller will be missed for the rest of my life. I loved him like a son would love his dad. He was my strenght for the many years that I lived with him and for the 29 years that I have known him.
