Henry Samuel Ernst III's Obituary
Ernst, Henry Samuel III, 67, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 3, 2017. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA and later became a long-time resident of Gulfport. Henry graduated from Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, VA in 1968. He then attended and graduated Cum Laude from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He began his career as a project manager/engineer for Ford before moving on to other industrial projects with Owens-Corning, Elk, and GAF to name a few. Henry, in his later years, became the proprietor of McNeals. He enjoyed collecting and was a lover of fast and exotic cars. Henry was preceded in death by his parents Col. Henry Samuel and Floreen Ernst. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel; his sister Loralee and brother-in-law Rod Woolard; step-daughter Vanessa and step-son Jason. Services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, visitation beginning at 2:30pm and the funeral service will begin at 4pm.
