Harry A Sproul's Obituary
Harry Albert Sproul, beloved husband of Shirley Sproul, departed this life on February 12, 2021 at the age of 92.
Harry was born to Albert C and Elsbeth (Swanberg) Sproul in Portland, Maine. He lived most of his life in Massachusetts, served in the Coast Guard, retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield as a programmer and moved to Florida. He was very athletic and enjoyed tennis immensely. In his 80’s, he would play and most often win tennis matches against men in their 30’s.
Harry enjoyed life. He was a good man with a keen sense of humor and a beautiful smile that would light up a room.
In addition to his wife Shirley, he leaves five daughters, Kathleen Clay (Earl), Diane Mousette (Ken), Patricia Roth (Rich), Eileen Champagne (Paul) and Mary Coffey (Ed), several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Harry Jr, his sister Marylou Batson-Hansen as well as two former wives, Margaret and Wendy.
