Harriet Adele Warach's Obituary
Warach, Harriet A., 87, passed away on June 24, 2018, in St. Petersburg, from complications associated with dementia. She formerly resided in Doylestown, PA and Oldsmar, FL. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ on April 18, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin, and her parents Rose and Albert Perry. She is survived by her 2 children, Beth and Lynn (Jon van Ingen) and her grandson and his fiancé, Nick Reffuge and Mackenzie Slabe, and several nieces and nephews. Harriet was initially a homemaker choosing to raise her 2 children until she and Irvin purchased Strand Cleaners in Doylestown, which they owned and operated until 1979. They decided to retire early and moved to Oldsmar, FL where they enjoyed retirement for several years. They both eventually went back to work in retail. Harriet worked for several large department stores and was a successful salesperson. Harriet enjoyed traveling, singing and spending time with her family. The family wishes to thank the staff at Menorah Manor in St. Petersburg, for their care of Harriet throughout her stay. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Menorah Manor or a charity of one’s choice.
