Harolyn Patrice Tinsley's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and boundless love that we announce the passing of Harolyn Tinsley, who left this world suddenly on May 19th 2025. She was 70 years old.
Beloved daughter of the late Harold & Kathryn Tinsley. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and owner of the most selfless heart. Harolyn lived her life guided by love, resilience, and a deep belief in the strength of family. As a Christian, her faith was not only a comfort but a compass.
As a single mother during her formative years, Harolyn raised two children and later assisted with her four grandchildren as needed, with fierce devotion and unmatched strength. She gave all of herself without hesitation—selfless in every sense of the word. Her persistent spirit often came hand in hand with her toughness; she stood tall through life’s challenges and never backed down when it came to protecting those she loved.
Family was her life’s purpose. She found joy in the small, everyday moments—laughing in the kitchen, late-night talks, watching her children, grandchildren, and nieces & nephews grow. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, enduring strength, and the values she instilled in the generations she nurtured.
Harolyn is survived by her children, Christina (Mark) & Jason (Renee), and her beloved grandchildren, Benjamin & Marissa, Cadence & Dax. Her sisters, Robyn (Steve), Lisa (Scott), and her brother James, as well as many extended family and friends who were blessed to know her. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before her, with due regard to her parents and late sister Rhonda (Bruce).
In honor of her spirit, we ask those who knew her to remember her not with sadness, but with gratitude for the love she gave so freely and the strength she showed so often. Her light lives on in all of us.
