Harold "Lindy" Lindamood's Obituary
Harold "Lindy" Lindamood, 96, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Kenneth City, Florida. He was born on October 16, 1928, in Fortville, Indiana.
Lindy proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War before embarking on a long career with General Motors. After his retirement, he relocated to Florida, where he enjoyed his later years.
He had a passion for gardening, golf, and bowling and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Indiana Hoosiers and Tampa Bay Rays. A devoted member of Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ, Harold served as an usher and found great fulfillment in his faith community.
Lindy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred, in 2012. He is survived by his children: Daniel (Paula), Mark, Kevin (Terri), and Susan (Brian); grandchildren Jason, Nathan, Jeremy (Erin), Amanda, and Trevor (Hallie); and great-grandchildren Sabren, Kylyn, and Elliott.
A memorial service is Thursday March 20, at 4:00 PM, the family will be accepting visitors one hour prior. Harold will be laid to rest beside his wife in Anderson, Indiana. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
