Gwen and Sam were a big part of our lives. We always enjoyed our family gatherings. Gwen always made feel at home and her cooking was super. In those early years I don't know if we'd have made it without their generosity.
Gwen was a real lady and we'll miss her, I can see the twinkle in Sam's eye now that she with him again.
I don’t know if you girls remember this day, it was your Dad’s birthday and I wanted to hit him in the face with a pie! It was your Mom who enthusiastically encouraged me to do it! Filled with fear I managed to accomplish the task and I remember the look on your Mom’s face and the laugh that followed. It’s as if she wanted to be one to do it! A great memory I’ll always cherish. May she Rest In Peace with the Lord and your Dad. My deepest condolences.
We first met Gwen and Sam when we moved into our first home right across the street from the Lynn’s. They were the best of neighbors, dear friends, and wonderful people. I will always remember Gwen’s laugh, her boundless energy, generous heart, fantastic cooking, and open door. Farewell dear one. We will see you in heaven! When I moved into my house next to Gwen little did I know she would always be my neighbor. Gwen and my mother were close over the years. They use to run around together until my mother could not get out anymore. Gwen was always on the move going somewhere. Jim and I will miss our talks with Gwen over the fence. Marley will especially miss the dog treats she used to wait for Gwen to throw her way. Our hearts and prayers go out to Nikki and Leah and the entire family.
