Gwen G. Moller's Obituary
Moller, Gwen G., 97, of St. Petersburg died Wed. Feb 6, 2008 at Hospice House Woodside. She was a member of First 7th Day Adventist Church of St. Petersburg. She was born in Gloucester County, England. Her family moved to Canada when she was 3 years old. She came to the U.S. and worked for the British Embassy in Washington, DC during WW II. She moved to New York where she lived and worked until her retirement from New York State United Teachers in Albany. She came to St. Petersburg in 1975. She was an accomplished pianist and studied at the Montreal Conservatory of Music. She enjoyed her retirement years as a local volunteer at many senior community centers playing and singing for the elderly. She holds many certificates of appreciation from various groups for her volunteer work. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Richard Halliday, St. Petersburg, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Earle and Dawn Brennan, Gravenhurst, Ontario, Paul and Irene Moller, Ballston Spa, NY; and a son, G. Bruce Moller, Inverness, FL; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
