Gloria S. Kidwell's Obituary
KIDWELL, Gloria S., 89, of Seminole passed away October 19, 2015 in Largo, FL. Gloria was born on March 25, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Nicholas and Rose Stevenson. Gloria was predeceased by her loving husbands, Edward Billington, Sr., and Forrest Kidwell. She is survived by her children, Gloria Gifford, Patricia Senese, Edward Billington, Jr., Kenneth Billington, John Billington and James Billington; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Gloria, a very patriotic woman, volunteered her time to various organizations including the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary where she served as commander and Bay Pines Fisher House and was a lifetime member of the American Legion and where she served as a county commander. Gloria was a banker at Banker's Trust on Wall Street until relocating to Florida in 1972, at which time she continued working in banking at Rutland Central Bank and its affiliates until their consolidation. Gloria was a generous soul and shared her homemade specialty, banana bread, with friends and strangers alike. Gloria will always be remembered for her sharing spirit and nature. Gloria will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
