Glenn R Kaisner's Obituary
Glenn Ray Kaisner was born on May 6, 1939 on a farm in Fairbury, Illinois to Francis and Martha Kaisner. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Bay Pines VA Hospital.
He served two years in the Army, and then went on to start in the insurance business in 1964, after moving to Peoria, Illinois. He moved to Treasure Island, Florida in 1981, where he opened an insurance office. From 1988 to 1997, he was State Manager for Standard Life Insurance Company. In 1997, he became partners with Teresa Pelo, opening Pasadena Insurance Agency.
He was a past Elk, Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary International, member of the Masons, and member of the American Legion. He was also called the "Fire Hydrant Guy" on 30th Avenue North in St. Petersburg.
The highlight of his life was his trips with his grandsons, Garrett and Zac.
He is preceded in death by his sister Ethel.
He is survived by his sons Tad of Ohio and Eric of Florida; grandsons Garrett of Florida and Zac of Pennsylvania (which were his pride and joy); sisters Evelyn of Illinois and Marlene of Ohio; his faithful puppy Brian, his business partner and good friend Teresa of Florida, and a number of loving friends.
There will be a visitation for Glenn on September 8, 2020 at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 pm to 8 pm. Celebration of Life to follow at Sea Hags on St. Pete Beach.
