Gladys W. Winters' Obituary
Winters, Gladys was born 16 March 1914 in Philadelphia, PA and died 19 April 2008 in St Petersburg, Florida. Predeceased by her parents Nathaniel and Edith Wiley of Media, Pa and her husband Abram B. Winters and daughter Juanita B. Caffy both of Gulfport. Fl. She is survived by a daughter NatLee George of Cherry Valley, CA., and two sons Abram B. Winters of Fayetteville, GA. and Robert B. Winters of Gulfport, Fl. Also 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. For more than 30 years Gladys was known at Boca Ciega High School as the 'Salad Lady' in the cafeteria. Creatively she sewed, knitted, did crewel work, and darned our socks. She loved to dance, cook and play bridge. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful Palmer hand. A viewing will be held Wed 4/23 from 9-10 AM at the funeral home where a funeral service will follow at 10:00AM
