Georgia C. Laskey's Obituary
With profound sadness, the family would like to announce the passing of Georgia C. Laskey. Georgia was born October 17, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George Kelly and Norma Boyd Kelly.
She passed away on September 9, 2021 in Pennsylvania while visiting family. Georgia moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where she has lived for 36 years. She retired from Raymond James Financial as Supervisor of Securities Transfer 2007 to spend more time with her family, friends and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Florida.
Georgia is the beloved mother of Daniel J. (Cindi) Laskey, Edward G. Laskey, and Sherry D. (Roger) Sossong. Loving sister of James Kelly and a proud grandmother to Daniel J. Laskey, Daniel Laskey, Cole, Chloe, and Keira Sossong and Matt Rodriquez. She will be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
