George Trusevich's Obituary
George Trusevich 95, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Nanty Glo, Pa. passed away June 23, 2008 in Florida. Born April 5, 1913 in Lachna, Poland, son of the late Peter and Natalia (Ankovich) Trusevich. Preceded in death by loving wife Mary; loving sister Ann and brother-in-law Andy. Survived by brother, John Sava; brother-in law John Gaboda; sister-in law, Margaret Smith; loving nieces Cookie Smith, Susan Young and Helen Kolar; nephews, Michael Smith and Peter Gaboda; and several great-nieces and nephews; cousin Nina Malykhin and caretaker Becky Sackreiter. After retirement from the coal mines, George moved to Nanty Glo and has been a resident of Florida for over 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the Moose and Knights of Columbus, and also enjoyed baseball. Friends will be received from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pa., the Rev. David S. Peles, officiating. Interment, SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa.
