George L. Silvernail Jr.'s Obituary
George Silvernail…A wonderful Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. A legend to his family and many great friends. He had many passions, loved to work on his boat, on his boating trips loved to fish. He also loved flying, had his own Air Taxi Service. From a very young age he was given a .22 rifle by his father and hunting was a way of life. Shooting became a serious passion. He competed in the Olympics in 1968 and has shot at the Skyway Trap and Skeet Club since 1945 when his dad helped establish the club. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After the War he joined his dad in the Mirror and Glass business. Anyone who knew George would know he always said, “I don’t like people, I love individuals”. He always used to say, “If God created anything better than women, he kept it to himself”. He is dearly loved, respected and looked up to by all his family and friends. When you became a friend you were a friend for life. He will be missed by everyone. He touched a lot of lives. Gone but never forgotten. Services are Pending.
