Mr. George David Brayton's Obituary
Brayton, George D., 82, of Seminole, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 3rd, 2012. He went in to the military in 1948 upon graduating from St. Petersburg High School. George retired after 27 years and having served in Vietnam. He then worked for the St. Petersburg Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1998. George was faithful in his service to the Lord and the membership to New Testament Baptist Church in Largo. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Lenora; son David Brayton; daughter Karen Jeffers; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday (today) Oct. 5th from 6pm to 8pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th St. N., St. Petersburg. The funeral service will take place at New Testament Baptist Church, 2050 Belcher Rd South, Largo on Saturday, Oct. 6th at 2pm. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
