Gordy, youngest & last of the Van Deusen brothers:
Gary, my brother, he was a great brother, I had two others who also were great too. The funny thing about brothers is they are all different, but I loved them all the same. Gary on the other hand was my oldest of my true mother and father. Eddy the oldest, was a half brother from a different mom. We loved him just the same.
Gary Gary Gary?????? What can I say? You lead the pack of Van Deusens down a road of individuality. You let us see how it was to be like free, gave us all an enlightenment of what happens when things go right, and sorry to say, wrong too.
You showed us it is not a problem to move on and start another life, and he has done all of that. He found another,(Suzanne Wittenbeck Green) and we Van Deusen’s are happy for that, Sue has been are communicator of Gary for years (25 plus years), and we love you for that Sue. Thank you very much.
Gary Gary Gary!!!!!!! The one thing I think that Gary would of loved to do before his passing would be to see his home town again. Well he is here with me, in my heart right now and enjoying the cold with me, he is in my heart but!!!!!! He would say to heck with the cold stuff give me seventy degrees baby. Lol.
Don’t blame him for that. I’m sure that he, we, all of us have things we would love to do, but just can/t make the time or have the resources to do it. So I’m sure my brother Gary Van Deusen has found his place, and will not, or has not any regrets. He lived his life the way he best could, and I love him for that.
I love you Gary, you are very much missed.
Your youngest brother,Gordon T.Van Deusen
