Frederick Edward Elflein's Obituary
Fred Elflein passed away quietly at home, surrounded by his family, on February 27th, 2019 at the age of 76. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, wonderful stories, kindness to all and love for his family. Fred was a wonderful, son, brother, uncle and friend. Fred was survived by his sister Betty, nephews John (Dianna) and Jay (JoAnne), great niece Michelle great nephews Bryan, Stephen, Daniel (Nicole), and Jason, great, great nieces Brianna, Ashley, Natalie and Daniella and several cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph and niece Cynthia (Michael).
Fred was born in Long Island, New York but moved at a young age to St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a business owner where he worked in shoe repair for many years. He enjoyed the beach, movies and spending time with his family and friends. We will miss his kindness and the smile he brought to all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10am-11am, the funeral service at 11am with a committal service to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family invites guests to join them in the reception room for fellowship following the committal service.
