Frank Verissimo Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Verissimo, Jr.
December 15, 1936 – December 1, 2020
Frank was born in New Bedford Massachusetts and was the son of Frank Sr. and Eva Verissimo who predeceased him. After crossing the Gandy Bridge and looking at the water in 1950 he was hooked on living here, moved to St. Petersburg and spent a great deal of time fishing with his dad.
Frank joined the Army and was on active duty from 1959 until 1962, followed by service in the Army Reserve from 1962 until 1980. Frank had a part-time job in the grocery department with Webb City Grocery Store, and stayed in the grocery industry until his retirement in 1998.
Frank loved to collect coins, especially the State Quarters and also enjoyed visiting Orlando for rest and relaxation.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pamela along with several cousins.
Please join his family and friends at the visitation listed below.
