Frank Montalto's Obituary
Frank Montalto was born on 1/13/37 in Bronx, New York. Frank’s parents were both of Italian descent.
At the  age  of  three,  Frank  and  his  sister  Regina  were  sent  to  St  Dominicks  Convent  in  Rockland  County,  New  York  where  they  were  raised  until  their  teenage  years.   It was  at  St  Dominick’s  that  Frank  learned  to  paint  from  the  maintenance  workers  who  took  him  under  their  wing  as  a  young  boy.  Painting would become  Frank’s  lifelong  profession.
In 1955 Frank  married  Cecilia  Kerins  and  started  a  family.  He soon started  his  own  painting  company  to  support  his  family
By 1973 Frank  was  divorced  and  he  remarried  his  second  wife, Marlene McGinn.  In 1976 they  relocated  to  Florida  and  started  his  new  painting  company,  Florida  Final  Coat.  In 1979 he  expanded  his  family  with  the  birth  of  another  daughter.
Frank was always  ambitious  and  resourceful.  He was a  hard  worker  and  mentored  many  people  in  his  painting  business  through  the  years.  He was proud  of  his  service  in  the  U.S.  Marine  Corps.  He wore  his  Marine  ring  and  sported  his  Marine  cap  to  the  very  end  of  his  life.
Frank always  enjoyed  a  good  Italian  meal  and  loved  going  out  to  restaurants  and  social  activities.  He enjoyed  “shaking  things  up”  and  the  more  excitement  the  better.
Frank passed  on  6/27/23  after  a  fall  that  resulted  in  a  broken  hip  which  led  to  complications  and  more  medical  issues  He  last  resided  at  The  Oaks  of  Clearwater.
Frank is  survived  by  his  daughters  Donna  (Willete)  and  Debra  Montalto,  Stepson  Peter  Tineo.  Frank is  predeceased  by  his  ex-wife  Cecilia,  his  sons  Frank  and  Doug  and  his  daughter  Vanessa  (Juzdowski).
Services will  be  held  on  7/24  at  Memorial  Park  Funeral  Home  &  Cemetery   in  St.  Pete, Fla.
