Frank Lagana Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Lewis Lagana Jr., 93, of Palm Harbor passed away May 30, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1930 in Norwalk, CT to Frank Sr and Rose (Cianci) Lagana. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Pre Korean Conflict. He worked for George Hunt Construction for many years before starting his own company, Clearwater Earth Moving. A St. Petersburg resident since 1952, Frank was an avid bowler at Seminole and Sunrise Lanes and loved to dance at the Arthur Murray Dance Studios.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Louise Lagana in 1984. Survivors include his current wife of 17 years, Ruby; daughter, Merry Lynn (Lagana) Reynolds; son, Frank “Bud” Lagana III; a stepdaughter, 2 step grandchildren, and 12 step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10 at Grace Harvest Church, 2205 Arcadia Road, Holiday.
A graveside burial of his ashes will take place at 12:00 p.m., June 16 at Memorial Park Cemetery 5750 49th Street N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. Please meet at the Funeral Home office for procession to the graveside.
