Rich And Marty Tatro
Wes was probably a one of a kind of a person, who lived his life pretty much the way he wanted. We lived next door to him, Joyce and Michael for nearly 30 years. In a way he was loud and scary, yet he was a softy, a real teddy bear, and he loved his family first and foremost. Joyce and Michael were his world and he cherished spending his private time with them. I had often told him he was one person who had his living room in his garage. When he wasn't working or fishing he would be having a few beers with Joyce or a friend in the garage. Wes was probably the best Grouper Fisherman I have ever known, he rarely came in from the Gulf without a good catch of fish, mostly Grouper. Wes worked as hard as anyone I ever known, when he came in from work he looked like they dragged him through a ditch covered from head to toe with soil. Like he always said he worked hard, he plays hard and he earned everything he made.
Marty and I moved away from being his neighbor nearly seven years ago, and as a result of my deteriorating health we loss contact with Wes and Joyce. But I will always appreciate knowing the good people and neighbor's they were. I am sure Wes will be sadly missed by his family and all those people who knew him. Joyce, You, Michael and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. Wes, my friend R.I.P.
