Francis J. "Frank" Cabral Jr.'s Obituary
Francis “Frank” Cabral Jr. of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 9, 2019.  He was 51.  A native of Pinellas Park, Florida, Frank was born June 21, 1967; the beloved son of the late Francis Joseph and Esther Cabral.
He worked for 18 years as an automotive technician with Firestone where he specialized in tire repair and service.  He was a proud veteran of the US Army.  An avid fan of pop culture, Frank enjoyed movies of all kinds but had a special affinity for science fiction.  He loved everything Star Trek and Star Wars and often participated in the Comic Con convention.  Prior to joining the Army, Frank enjoyed working as a movie projectionist in the local theaters.  He enjoyed many facets of life; everything from Italian foods to dancing, looking for bargains at garage sales and being an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Bucs.  Although Frank had varied interests and passions, there was one constant love in his life – his family. He truly enjoyed time with family especially his many nieces and nephews.  He will be sorely missed.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his dear brother, Jay and sister-in-law Kristen Cabral and his beloved sister, Esther and her husband Greg King.  He also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews; Ashley Stresen-Reuter and her husband Jake, Hannah and Grace King, Corinne Stafford, Austin Stafford and Savanna Brock.
Visitations will be held 6pm – 8pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 and 10am – 12noon, Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home 5750 49th St. N, St Petersburg, Florida 33709.  Funeral services will begin at 12noon Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the funeral home.  Immediately following, friends and family will recess to the Garden of Serenity Falls division of Memorial Park Cemetery where Frank will be laid to rest with military honors.
