Frances Elizabeth Harper's Obituary
Frances Elizabeth (Lawson) Harper, 79, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Monday, August 22, 2022.
She was born in St. Petersburg on Oct. 5th, 1943, the youngest daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Keller) Lawson. Frances was a graduate of Northeast High School, class of 61. She retired as an insurance adjuster after 30 years of service before becoming a hospital volunteer at two local hospitals with her best friend of 59 years, Karen DiNardo. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her hobbies included bowling, billiards, and coaching girls’ softball. She enjoyed dancing and relaxing on the beach.
She is survived by her three daughters; Patricia Brightbill, Kathryn Douglas, and Jennifer Carpentieri; three grandchildren; Robby Sipes, Taylor Brightbill, and Montana Brightbill; three great-grandchildren; Michael Sipes, Kyla-Jo Birch, and Mila-Lee Sipes; her sister, Barbara Brown of Texas; her brother, Robert Lawson of Ohio; her friend, Jay Hingst of Arizona whom she has known since high school and brought much joy to her life.
Resting services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709 on Sept 10th, at 11:00 AM.
