Happy birthday Granny! I love you and miss you.
Granny took me home from the hospital as a baby and I took her home to the lord as I brought her to her final resting place. There hasn't been a day that has past that I haven't missed her. I learned so much from her. She was not only a blessing to have known as a grandmother, she was a blessing to have know as a person. There was not a kinder soul than Granny Green, nor has there been since. I only wish I have a small fraction of the impact she has had on so many lives. Anyone that ever came in contact with her was immediately showered with love and normally a large plate of food, or at least a glass of tea. She will be forever missed.
I will miss Flossie greatly. I was unable to attend the service due to illness that required Dr.'s care. I will miss tea and biscuits with her while we straightened out the world. If it were not for her...my soul would have been wandering for a long time. I bet she and Jesus are having tea & biscuits and she is laying it on him about this world! God Bless her! From the day I was born til the day we moved to Hernando county, I spent many weekends & weekdays with Granny. She was so very kind to me, adored me as I did her, and always made sure I was happy and she was just an inspiration to me, Ill always remember going to church with her,learning how to cook,Playing in the yard, Granny curling my hair to make me look like shirley timple, just many special times Ill always cherish! I will dearly miss her. I will always find strength in the memories I have dear to my heart. I love you and I know you are in heaven shining down on all of us! God Bless you Granny.

Although we will miss Sis. Green, her memory will live forever in our hearts. She took us under her wings when we moved to St. Petersburg, and adopted us as her own. For us, she was a Spiritual Mother and look forward to the day when we can meet her again and enjoy her laughter and share in her prayers.
