Flora Alinea's Obituary
Flora Alinea, 99, left this materialistic, hateful, and corrupt world for Heaven on August 8, 2021. God and his Angels flew her to unreachable serenity to be with her soul-mate, Juliano Sr., and countless relatives that are loved by family for eternity. And, who are all blessed with worthy qualities essential to be a permanent resident by God in his peaceful and perfect, Heaven. Flora had Iglesia Ni Cristo church service online, and was surrounded with caring and loving family when God allowed her to enter Heaven during her sleep. She left us peacefully for Paradise without suffering, a wish and prayer that was heard and fulfilled by God.
Flora Alinea was born in Santo Tomas, Pangasinan, Philippines on November 28, 1921 to wonderful parents Filomena and Panfilo. Her mother, Filomena, was compassionate, empathetic, and caring. The father, Panfilo, was a strong/silent-type person, considerate, and loving. Filomena was on this earth for 103 years and Panfilo 105 years. Both of her parents lived long meaningful lives that touched everybody that was privileged enough to know them long-term, inside and out. We thank God for blessing us with Filomena and Panfilo to give birth to 12 children, one of them being our beloved, Flora. Flora’s magnificent sisters include: Catalina; Amy; Dionisia; Cresencia; and Vicenta. Her marvelous brothers include: Alberto; Claudio; Emeterio; Zosimo; Hilario; and Abraham. All of Flora’s 11 siblings blossomed into exceptional individuals that were cherished and loved by countless people. Flora Alinea first met her future husband, Juliano Sr., through family. They became close friends since then, developing everlasting bond and fondness towards one another with every new day. With blessings from God and family, they started the journey through life together on April 1946. Juliano Sr. was God’s offering to Flora, as he was unselfish; caring; kind; funny; intelligent; efficient; and thoughtful. And, above all, took care of his wife with all his heart and being. Having the gift of immense love to the highest degree for each other, and being married, they felt blissful happiness and tranquility. Flora and Juliano Sr. were inseparable, seeing them together made people within the vicinity smile and ponder euphoric thoughts. As time passed, and their love grew limitlessly, God bestowed them with 5 phenomenal children. The three daughters: Dalisay, Lourdes, and Myrna had all the qualities that define being genuine and are overall good-natured through their unselfish actions. The two sons: Juliano Jr., was humorous, thoughtful, and generous; and Daniel was hard-working. Flora Alinea embodied the true characteristics and responsibilities of a wife, mother, and a best friend that was always honest and loyal to family and trustworthy people. Living in a modest and humble environment, Flora sacrificed so much for her family, especially for her 5 offspring. Flora relinquished her own education and body to laborious and fatiguing duties to put food on the table and to have adequate housing. Flora had the love, passion, and devotion of being the optimum housewife for her whole family. Flora’s better half, Juliano Sr., was one of the first male nurses in the Philippines during his time; and who really took pleasure helping people utilizing his healthcare expertise. Beyond everything, Flora’s and Juliano Sr.’s shared desire was to put all of their 5 children through college, so that they would have a bright future in every aspect of life. Although Flora and Juliano Sr. had a frugal way of life, they accomplished this goal with the help of God, working hard tirelessly, and being fueled by love for family. Flora and Juliano Sr. compassionately fostered family first than themselves unconditionally with their superior deeds and actions. Flora Alinea, and the love of her life, Juliano Sr., both loved attending Iglesia Ni Cristo worship services where they once were a deaconess and deacon for many years. They also shared the love of gardening; reading; cooking; watching television/movies; and spending quality time together as love-doves and with close/loyal family. Flora was endearing and full of life to the people around her. She was an entertaining and honest person; the things she said made you laugh and cry at the same time. When you see her, she radiates the feelings of happiness, joyfulness, and everything that relates to positivity. This angelic lady has powerful energy that keeps family in good spirits and the will to go on when life is at its deepest/darkest and most unfortunate moments/events. Flora’s ideal mannerisms, and the way she spoke to family and others made your heart melt. She was the most charming, cutest, and adorable woman that God created. We thank God endlessly for creating such an irresistible, elegant, and beautiful person in every way imaginable. Flora Alinea got the best care that we could provide with our modest and limited resources; she was shown the highest respect and the nirvana of love. The main family members that were honored by God to care for Flora in her precious years were her 3 daughters: Dalisay; Myrna; Lourdes; and the grandson, Sid Lester. These people mentioned previously, unconditionally put Flora first above everything; and sacrificed their time, energy, and soul. The 4 guardians devoted their lives on caring for Flora mentally and physically around the clock like it was their destiny. Juliano Jr., Caroline, and Laura cared for Flora when they were available; these 3 family members were mainly responsible for all aspects of Flora’s and Juliano Sr.’s devotion to Iglesia Ni Cristo by providing nourishment, transportation, and safequard at church. Daniel and Benjamin also aided Flora in different ways that helped extend her carefree life on this deplorable world we live in. We are grateful and appreciative to Flora’s closest sisters, Amy and Dionisia, for their philanthropy and actions of goodwill. We also appreciate Dalisay’s trusted, loyal, and lifetime friends who assisted Flora in noteworthy ways, they include: Patty; Vinh; Brad; Marjorie; Emy and Jimmy. All of us significantly respect and value the doctors who practically saved her life in abundance of processes and procedures; these professionals include: Dr. Ramona Arias; Dr. Michael Newan; Dr. Larry Williams; Dr. Tejinder Glamour; Dr. Roopa Ganga; and many other classes of doctors who supported Flora. Thanks to other family (near & distant); close friends; healthcare workers; Iglesia Ni Cristo brethren; and others that contributed in some way to Flora’s longevity. Thanks, God, for blessing Flora with a long-lasting life filled with everlasting happiness and love. We all give boundless thanks and gratitude to God for blessing our family with Flora Alinea whom we adore, treasure, and wholeheartedly love for eternity.
