Sending my heartfelt condolences to all the Jacobs family. My brothers and I have known the Jacobs for over 50 years. We grew up in St. Petersburg three doors away, played together constantly, went to the same schools through high school. His parents were always a constant presence in their home. My condolences on the loss of your father from the Hall Family.
When I think of Uncle Fawzi, I think of his
laugh—it was truly infectious. Even now, I
find myself smiling at the memories,
especially the ones at my dad’s house when everyone gathered together. There were always so many jokes, and the laughter filled the room with joy and love.
There was always laughter at every gathering, but when Uncle Fawzi was there, he brought out the best in everyone. And of course, there was the ritual: arak or tequila!
That’s how I’ll celebrate his life and his legacy—“Tequila!!! And a Joke!!”
To Uncle Fawzi, who was truly a blessing and will be deeply missed.
