Esperanza Almena Dyke's Obituary
Esperanza Almena Dyke the 10th of 13 children was born on August 4, 1926 to Cecil and Irene Samuels (deceased) in Runaway Bay Saint Ann’s Jamacia West Indies. She worked as a book keeper for a Printing Company in Kingston, Jamaica. She was married to Noel Dyke and later migrated to New York City in 1979 where she worked at a placement agency for nursing. She later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida and fellowshipped with the Saints at Grace Gospel Chapel 5th Ave North. She loved gardening and won the best neighborhood garden award for her home at 3662 1st Ave South. She enjoyed cooking and introduced her grand nieces and nephew to try new cuisine. Essie as she was affectionately called loved the Lord and served Him faithfully until the end. She went home to be with the Lord December 26, 2017 after 3 years of illness.

She survived her husband by 11 years and will be laid to rest beside him. She is survived by adopted sons, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives
