Ernest C Jones Promoted to Glory September 2nd, 2012. Born April 23rd, 1929, in Mt. Vernon Illinois. Lifelong member of the Salvation Army and member of the Cement Masons Union Local 502 for 65 years. Leaves wife of 66 years, Jacqualyn and daughter, Janice in Doha, Qatar, sons Larry and wife Gail in Mackinaw, Illinois, Terry in Montana, Gary and wife Sharon in Tampa, Kerry and wife Ann Richards in Largo, Florida, four granddaughters, two grandsons, two great grandsons, and three great granddaughters. Also left sister Grace Jones of Denver, CO; brothers Samuel of Sycamore,IL Daniel and John of Rockford, IL and other family. He was a good man to be with. Memorials can be sent to the Salvation Army.
