Emma H Orr's Obituary
Orr, Emma H. (98) of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 5th, 2022. Born in Kimball Township, Minnesota on October 30th, 1923. She was one of seven children of the late Frederick and Emma Mekosch. Emma married Lowell Orr in July of 1940 and they had three children. While residing in the St. Paul, MN area, Emma was primarily a homemaker until her husband passed away in 1963. She went to work for Montgomery Wards until she retired and moved to Florida to be with her children and grandchildren in the early 1980s. Emma was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a resilient woman that overcame many obstacles in her life and kept her sweet temperament through it all. She loved the Lord and was baptized by submersion in 2012. Emma enjoyed drinking coffee, baking chocolate chip cookies, reading, eating vanilla ice cream cones and playing trivia games. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell, and youngest daughter, Twila Reich and her son-in-law Melvin Reich. Emma is survived by her daughter, Hilda “Jane” Heishman of Clearwater, FL, Thomas Orr and wife Connie Orr of Oklahoma, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Emma will be greatly missed by many.
