Elizabeth "Betty" A. Peach's Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" A. Peach died in Clearwater, FL on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the age of 89. Mrs. Peach is survived by her four children: John E. Peach and wife Diane of Apex, North Carolina; Robert T. Peach and wife Marcella, of Andover, Minnesota; Dale Peach Smith and husband Ronald, of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Denis G. Peach and wife, Konhui, of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and a sister, Mary Jane Bertolini of Old Lyme, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her husband, John, sister, Muriel Clare, brother, John (Jack) Carter and a granddaughter, Debra Ann Peach.
She married John Albert Peach on December 27, 1941 and they remained in Connecticut to raise their four children.
Mrs. Peach moved to St. Petersburg, FL with her husband in 1977. She worked as a school crossing guard for many years and served her community by becoming a volunteer at Edward White Hospital, St. Petersburg General Hospital and The St. Pete Free Clinic. Mrs. Peach also helped at the local polls at every election. She devoted her life to her family, and friends and was always willing to help anyone in any way. In 2003, The Peaches moved to Clearwater, Florida for the remainder of their lives, where they became members of Light of Christ Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all!
