Elizabeth "Liz" H. Moyle's Obituary
Elizabeth Hutchinson Moyle, age 102, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away peacefully on February 1st, 2025. She was under the care of Empath Hospice in Clearwater.
A wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, “Liz” (as Elizabeth was affectionately known) was born on November 27th, 1922. She married her loving husband Delbert M. Moyle in 1946 and together they lived in Maine, Nebraska, Maryland, and finally St. Petersburg, FL. Liz was a strong woman of faith, attended Wesley Memorial church, loved going to the beach, working in the garden, and taking care of her home. One of her favorite hobbies was playing cards, especially “Rook”. Liz loved people, was very outgoing, and never knew a stranger. One of the many amazing things about her was that her mind stayed sharp as a tack well into her golden years, and she was able to recall details from years ago. She would always say that she lived a great life!
Liz leaves behind her two grandchildren, Cynthia H. Graves (Brian) and Erich Scott Hintze; two great-grandchildren, Jill and Allison Graves; and numerous cousins and friends who will all miss her terribly. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Delbert M. Moyle in 2016; and her daughter Rebecca A. Hintze in 2023.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, February 26th at 10:00am.
