Eileen T. Plasse's Obituary
Eileen T. (Lesperance) Plasse, 68, of St. Petersburg, FL, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, left her earthly life on February 24, 2023, after a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma.
Eileen was born in Woonsocket, RI, to Pauline (Bourgery) and Christopher Lesperance, and was a 1972 graduate of Blackstone-Millville Regional Junior/Senior High School in Blackstone,MA.
She is survived by her loving husband William Plasse of St. Petersburg, her sons Anthony Plasse and wife Stella of Tampa, FL and Jeffrey Plasse and wife Julie of Evansville, IN, and her daughter Christina Sistrunk and husband David of St. Petersburg, FL. She also leaves her grandchildren, Lucas, Lauren, Leah, Lucy and Lincoln and Noah Plasse as well as her siblings Pauline Winn (Kevin), of Grafton,MA, Christine Cullen (Michael) of Palm Bay,FL, Diane Berthelette (Emile), Mary Santoro (Tim) and Michael Lesperance (Ann) of Millville, MA, Anna Laplume (Ricky) of Chepatchet, RI, and John Lesperance (Nancy) of Franklin, MA. She is predeceased by her brother Christopher Lesperance. Eileen also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
Eileen and Bill, the love of her life, would have celebrated their golden anniversary in June. She possessed tremendous organizational skills which she used not only in her personal life but also in her role as office manager for various church/parishes in the St. Petersburg area. Along with her husband Bill, Eileen currently operated a very successful Airbnb, where she was always considered the “hostess with the mostest”.
An excellent homemaker and entertainer, Eileen will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all her knew her.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 10:00 AM, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 59th Street and 4th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL.
