In Loving Memory of Eileen C. Mumford
Born April 25, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Eileen passed away on December 23, 2024 surrounded by love and family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Leo Mumford, her parents, Albert Frederick Hoysted Molloy Jr. and Lida Opal Molloy. Her older sister Patricia Ann Hebauf and her youngest daughter, Andrea Nguyen, who passed away just 9 days prior.
At the age of 15, Eileen moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida, where she graduated from St. Pete High School in 1952. Eileen was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Paul Leo Mumford, in 1954. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories—a bond that remained unbreakable throughout the years.
Her life was a reflection of the joy, strength, and love that family brings. Eileen found happiness in the simplest of things—collecting pennies, porcelain dolls, and grandchildren. These treasures mirrored her deep appreciation for the small yet beautiful moments in life.
Eileen is survived by her children, Pam Mumford, Cheryl Whitaker, Brenda Fifield, and Paul Mumford, who were her heart and soul. Her love lives on through her 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply.
Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and comfort, a place where laughter and love were always abundant. Eileen’s presence was a guiding light, her wisdom a source of strength, and her kindness a gift to all who knew her.
Her family invites those who loved her to join in celebrating the life of a truly remarkable woman—one who touched countless hearts and left an enduring legacy of love and kindness.
The viewing will take place on Friday, January 3rd, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Services will be held on Saturday, January 4th, beginning at 9:45 AM at Palm Lake Christian Church in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Visitation is Friday, January 3, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral will take place Saturday, January 4, at 10:00 AM at Palm Lake Christian Church.
