Edward Allen Stockhausen's Obituary
With profound sadness the family would like to announce the passing of Edward A Stockhausen. He was born on October 2, 1961 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He was the loving son of June Miller Bender. He suddenly passed away on September 13, 2021.
Eddie lived many years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Redondo Beach, California with his grandparents. In 1985 he and his immediate family moved to St Petersburg Florida where his grandparents lived. Eddie met his lifelong partner, Jenny, in 1996. Ed’s joy in life was taking care of his family. He is a loving partner, dad, pappy, brother, and uncle. Eddie is the chef of all family gatherings. He loved cooking, fishing, Derby Lanes, and football. Pittsburgh Steelers is his favorite team and he was known to show up at events in his black and gold. He was known as “Mr. Ed” and worked as an independent mover for many years.
Eddie is predeceased by his mom, June Miller Bender, his sister Jacquelyn Serwatka, and his brother Francis Miller. Eddie is the beloved partner to Jenny Harris, loving father to Tabatha (Juan) Harris Rios, an awesome pappy to Lucas and Juliette and the best brother to Joyce (Joe) Schafer, Kimberly Laskey, Christine (Billy) Lawton and Cheryl (Rick) Myers. He will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews as well as his extended family and friends.
His viewing and service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday September 18th from 1:00 - 4:00pm.
