Edward Jerome Pape's Obituary
Edward Jerome Pape, 91, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. He was born in the Bronx, NY, served in the U.S. Army from 1950-52, and retired to St. Petersburg, FL, after working many years as a facilities and grounds keeper at the Bronx Zoo. A lover of animals and nature, Eddy helped take care of the family's pets, and he would feed birds outdoors that some began knocking on his door for more food. His favorite sports teams were the "Brooklyn" Dodgers and the New York Jets. Uncle Eddy is survived by his loving family of nephews and nieces, who will miss his gentle spirit and generosity.
